PALA RESERVATION HOMEOWNERS
Act now to reserve your utility rebate for a FREE* whole home battery system.
Safeguard your family against future power outages and peak energy rates with 10 kW Tesla Home Battery Powerwall System (valued up to $26,400) installed by Swell Energy (Pala’s preferred battery vendor)
Homes on the Pala Reservation are in high fire zones and subject to extended SDG&E outages. Without backup power, your home may spend days without electricity needed to power air conditioners, lighting, appliances, etc. The California Public Utility Commission (CPUC) just approved new funding through the Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) for any home on the Reservation to install a battery backup system at no cost (up to $26,400).* Applications for free home battery storage systems will be accepted starting on March 16th.
The new generation of lithium-ion “smart” home batteries, like the Tesla Powerwall offered by Swell Energy, plug right into your home’s electrical system and offer the following benefits:
- MAINTAIN POWER at your home during an SDG&E outage
- SAVE MONEY by storing lower cost (off-peak) power and using during high cost (peak) times
- USE WITH SOLAR (optional) to increase backup power (with a new or existing solar system)
