CULTURAL JUSTICE FOR TRIBES

The California THPO & SHPO Virtual Summit brings together California’s Tribal Historic Preservation Officers, Tribal leaders, Tribal citizens, and cultural preservation staff with the California State Historic Preservation Officer and Office of Historic Preservation to facilitate discussion and sharing with state and federal agencies and organizations.

This year, we will be meeting in an online format over two days, with ten panels organized around the theme “Cultural Justice for Tribes.” The fight for justice is not new to Tribes, but in this era of civil strife and uncertainty, it is more important than ever for Tribes to have their voices heard and for the state and federal governments to meet Tribes in a spirit of cooperation, commitment, and respect.

Please join us! When you register, you will be added to our mailing list to receive the final agenda and access to the Zoom links for each panel when they are finalized.

REGISTRATION

Please register now for the Virtual Summit: Cultural Justice for Tribes on Wednesday, September 30th, and Thursday, October 1st from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM PT (Pacific Time). Participants only need to register once for both sessions.
