REGULATIONS FOR GREEN WASTE DUMPING (For Pala Tribal Members)
As a courtesy, Pala tribal members are allowed to dump green waste (tree branches, cut grass, yard trimmings, etc.) from their homes and yards at the transfer station free of charge. Because some tribal members are abusing this privilege, the following rules will apply, WITHOUT EXCEPTION.
- Tribal members MUST bring their green waste themselves.
- Tribal members MUST show their Tribal ID.
- Tribal members are PROHIBITED from allowing others to use their Tribal ID to dump green waste. Doing so will result in losing the privilege of free dumping.
Tribal members will be allowed to dump a maximum of ONE TRUCKLOAD per week.
If you employ a gardener to tend the landscaping at your home, you must make arrangements with the Transfer Station staff for your gardener to dump the green waste from your yard. You will be allowed to designate your gardener to dump on your behalf no more than ONE TIME per week by calling the Transfer Station in advance and giving your Tribal ID number.
THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THESE RULES.
