Every year we celebrate Earth Day by participating in local community events and planning activities with Vivian Banks Charter School. This year, we are participating in the Intertribal Earth Day celebration on April 9 on the La Jolla Reservation. This year’s theme – Watering our Roots – focuses on protecting a healthy watershed for all the communities who live along the San Luis Rey River. Pala, Pauma, Pechanga, San Pasqual, La Jolla, and Los Coyotes are all within the San Luis Rey watershed. By joining forces for this Earth Day, we strengthen our partnerships and commitment to protecting Mother Earth. We hope you can join us! Click here for the flyer with more information.
